After decades of managing real estate partnerships, in 2012 Kirk launched the investment platform that would become Humphreys Capital. He led the firm as CEO until 2020, when he assumed the role of Executive Chairman, where he mentored the firm’s leadership and chairs the Investment Committee of each fund. Kirk now serves as Chairman Emeritus. He contributes 50 years of experience in real estate acquisition, syndication, financing, ownership, and disposition.
Kirk was twice elected Mayor of the City of Oklahoma City, serving from 1998 through 2003. Kirk is a former director of OGE Energy Corp., a former member of the Board of Regents of The University of Oklahoma, and a former Trustee of the Urban Land Institute. From 1972 to 1989, Kirk and his brothers owned and operated Jack’s Service Company, a national distribution business.
Kirk earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from The University of Oklahoma in 1972.
He and his wife, Danna, have been married for 52 years and live in Oklahoma City and Carlton Landing. They have 3 children and 15 grandchildren.

Grant serves as Chairman of the Humphreys Capital Board of Directors, Executive Chairman, and serves on the Investment Committee of each fund. He contributes decades of experience in real estate development and investments, which includes Carlton Landing, a DPZ-designed lakefront municipality founded by Grant in 2010. He is the past President of the National Town Builders Association, and alongside his wife, Jen, Grant founded Carlton Landing Academy, the first rural charter school in Oklahoma.
After beginning his career with Trammell Crow Company, he spent the 2000’s assembling the largest self-storage portfolio in the state. During this time, he also developed luxury, LEED-certified condominiums in downtown Oklahoma City.
Grant earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from Baylor University in 1998. In 2021, he earned his MBA with TRIUM, a global executive program from three elite business schools: NYU Stern, HEC Paris, and The London School of Economics.
Grant is an instrument-rated pilot who enjoys traveling and time in the outdoors. He and Jen have five children and live in Oklahoma City.

Max serves as Chief Executive Officer of Humphreys Capital and a member of the Investment Committee of each fund. He joined the firm in September 2025, bringing decades of experience in corporate finance, energy, and private equity–backed ventures.
After beginning his career with Westar Energy, Max advanced to Managing Director of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, including four years in France overseeing international investments. He later joined OGE Energy Corp. as Treasurer and Head of Corporate Development, where he led M&A initiatives that culminated in the creation of Enable Midstream, a large publicly traded midstream company that was later purchased by Energy Transfer.
In 2013, Max co-founded Tall Oak Midstream, a natural gas midstream company backed by private equity. Over the next decade, he and his partners built and sold three Tall Oak entities with a combined value of more than $2 billion. As Co-Founder and CFO, he led financing, investor relations, M&A, and shared overall company management.
Beyond his professional work, Max is active in civic and community leadership. He serves as Vice Chair of Allied Arts OKC (and will serve as Chair from 2026–2028), is a parishioner at St. John’s Church in Edmond, and sits on several boards, including Infinity Capital, Sherwood Construction, and the Dean McGee Eye Foundation. He is also a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma, Class 23.
Max earned a B.S. in Business Administration (1996) and an MBA in Finance (1997) from the University of Kansas, where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi.
An avid outdoorsman, Max enjoys hunting and spending time with family and friends. He and his wife, Janie, have two sons and reside in Edmond, OK.

Chris Dunning serves as Head of Real Estate at Humphreys Capital, where he leads all aspects of the firm’s real estate investment strategy, including acquisitions, development, and asset management. With more than 22 years of experience in real estate investment, capital markets, and portfolio management, he brings deep expertise and disciplined leadership to the firm’s platform.
Prior to joining Humphreys Capital, Chris was a Partner at a regional investment management firm focused on acquiring multifamily assets and developing retail and industrial properties throughout Oklahoma. In that role, he oversaw investment sourcing, underwriting, and execution, helping guide the firm’s strategic growth and capital deployment.
Earlier in his career, Chris spent a decade as Senior Vice President at one of the nation’s leading capital markets firms, where he specialized in structuring agency debt and equity financing for office, industrial, and multifamily projects. His experience includes work with national insurance carriers, major lending institutions, and the full spectrum of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/HUD programs.
Over his career, Chris has successfully closed more than half a billion dollars in real estate transactions nationwide. His work spans the full investment lifecycle — from origination and development to financing and long-term portfolio management — reflecting a comprehensive understanding of real estate as both a financial asset and an operating enterprise.
Chris earned both his MBA and undergraduate degrees from Oklahoma State University.
He and his family reside in Edmond, OK.

Todd is a Partner and Investment Committee member for Funds IV and V. He joined the firm in 2013 and contributes two decades of experience that have uniquely equipped him to be a real estate investor.
After law school, Todd began his career in commercial real estate brokerage at Price Edwards & Company, and then became the Assistant Vice President at MidFirst Bank. He later served as Director of Real Estate for Devon Energy, where he managed over 2 million square feet of real estate and assisted in the development of Devon’s one million-square-foot headquarters building in Oklahoma City.
Todd currently serves on the Governance Committee of the Oklahoma District Council of the Urban Land Institute and on the Small-Scale Development Council for ULI.
Todd earned a Juris Doctor from The University of Oklahoma in 2002 and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Oklahoma in 1999.
He and his wife, Kelli, have three children and live in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Paul is the Head of Energy Investing at Humphreys Capital. He joined the firm in 2024, bringing two decades of oil and gas experience that uniquely position him to identify, acquire, and manage high-quality energy assets.
Paul began his career as a reservoir engineer at ExxonMobil before advancing through technical, financial, and asset management roles at Southwestern Energy, Marathon Oil, and SandRidge Energy. Over his career with public operators, he led multi-disciplinary teams responsible for drilling more than 1,200 wells in basins throughout the US Lower 48.
Before joining Humphreys Capital, Paul served as Vice President of Acquisitions and Divestitures at Black Mountain Oil & Gas, where he helped secure assets in the Eagle Ford and Permian basins. In total, he has led teams responsible for more than $1.2 billion in asset acquisitions.
Paul holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University (2004) and an MBA from the University of Houston (2011).
He and his wife, Sabrina, live in Edmond, Oklahoma, with their four children.

Ohm keeps the firm leaning into the latest technology developments, incorporating artificial intelligence into the design and implementation of models, algorithms, and automation that augment investment and portfolio analysis.
He joined the firm in 2023 after building experience as a senior reservoir engineer at ExxonMobil and Cimarex Energy, where he worked on cross-functional teams of engineers and geoscientists to optimize reservoir performance, recovery, and investment economics using data-driven techniques.
He earned an MBA from the University of Oklahoma in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering (Honors) from the University of Tulsa in 2017. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 2011.
He and his wife Himali reside in Oklahoma City.

Nicholas is a real estate analyst and underwriter responsible for supporting recommendations to the Investment Committee. He joined the firm in 2020 after an early career as an analyst for a search fund and an engineer with Texas Instruments.
Nicholas earned a Master of Business Administration from Rice University in 2020 and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M in 2015.

James oversees portfolio management and asset valuation in addition to contributing macroeconomic research. He joined the firm in 2021.
James earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University in 2020.

“Easton Moore is a Senior Associate at Humphreys Capital, where he plays a critical role in all aspects of commercial real estate investing, including sourcing, underwriting, and managing opportunities across our series of funds.
He joined the firm in February of 2023 after beginning his career as a development analyst at PMB Capital Investments in Dallas, TX, where he underwrote residential land, retail, and multi-family development opportunities ranging from $3M to $500M.
Easton earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance (Honors) from the University of Oklahoma and was a member of the Price College of Business Leadership Program. He is actively involved in the OU Real Estate Alumni Network, the Urban Land Institute, the Commercial Real Estate Council, and his church community.
Outside of work, Easton enjoys playing golf, following all things sports, hunting birds, and spending quality time with his loved ones. He and his wife, Alyse, reside in Oklahoma City.

Rachel provides administrative support to the Investments team, including correspondence with project sponsors, logistical planning, and coordination of project funding. She joined the firm in 2022.
Rachel graduated with special distinction from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication in 2021.
She and her husband, Hunter, live in Moore.

Ben is the Head of Investor Relations at Humphreys and a member of the Investment Committee of each fund. He joined the firm in 2015.
His aptitude for investor relations grew naturally from chapters of his career where he directed the investment processes of the University of Oklahoma Foundation and The Baptist Foundation of Oklahoma. At OU, Ben formed the foundation’s first investment team, established investment processes to manage $1.5 billion in assets, and built its portfolio into a top-decile-ranked endowment.
Ben serves on the board of trustees for Oklahoma Baptist University, the board of directors of Reaching Souls International, the MBA Board of Advisors for the Michael F. Price College of Business at OU, and as an elder and teacher at his church.
Ben earned an MBA with an emphasis in finance from the University of Oklahoma in 2002 and a BBA in Finance from Oklahoma Baptist University in 1999.
He and his wife, Jeannie, have three children and reside in Newcastle, Oklahoma.

Joshua builds and maintains relationships with the investors of Humphreys Real Estate Income Fund (HREIF). He joined the firm in 2019 after building experience in wealth management at J.P. Morgan Private Bank and as the Communications Director at Kimray, where he was recognized by the Journal Record as an “Achiever Under 40”.
Joshua earned an MBA from Oklahoma City University and a bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.
He resides in Oklahoma City with his wife, Marni, and their three children.

Jake supports investor servicing and due diligence for Humphreys Capital. He joined the firm in 2023 and is a November 2025 CFA Level II candidate.
Jake began his career as an Audit Associate at HoganTaylor after earning bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting from the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University in 2017. He followed his time in public accounting with roles at GiANT Worldwide and Crossings Community Church.
Jake resides in The Village with his wife, Allyson, and their dog, Karsten.

Tyson serves as General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer of Humphreys Capital. He brings 20 years of experience across legal, M&A, and finance, with a career spanning leadership roles in energy and midstream businesses.
Before joining Humphreys Capital in September 2025, Tyson served as General Counsel of Tall Oak Midstream for more than a decade, where he provided leadership across M&A, commercial, financial, and operational matters. Prior to Tall Oak, he held leadership roles with Enable Midstream Partners, first as in-house counsel supporting commercial and business development initiatives, and later leading a finance team responsible for evaluating all company transactions.
Tyson earned his undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and his J.D. from the University of Arkansas. He is a member of both the Oklahoma and Arkansas State Bar Associations and the Mineral Lawyers Society of Oklahoma City.
Committed to strengthening Oklahoma communities, Tyson supports the United Way of Central Oklahoma, the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, and serves on the Endowment Board of Positive Tomorrows, a tuition-free elementary school for children and families experiencing homelessness in Oklahoma City.
He and his wife, Bronda, have two children and live in Oklahoma City.

Chase leads the firm’s finance and accounting team in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, forecasting, asset valuation, and treasury. He coordinates with third-party providers, including lending, tax, audit, fund administration, and valuation services. He joined the firm in 2021 after leading accounting teams in private equity-backed companies. He began his career in the audit practice of KPMG.
Chase earned a Master of Accountancy from the University of Oklahoma in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics and Political Science from Wheaton College in 2013. He has been a CFA® charterholder since 2024 and has maintained active status as a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma since 2016.
He and his wife, Katie, reside in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Elle manages systems for Humphreys Capital, including data, investor reporting, and business intelligence dashboards. As the Information Security Officer, she ensures the integrity of digital archives and safeguards the cybersecurity of our investors. She joined the firm in 2020.
Elle earned a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma in 2016.
Elle, her husband, Billy, and their son live in Oklahoma City.

Kathy Mann assists with financial statement preparation, the audit process, and managing the firm’s accounts.
Kathy brings with her more than 25 years of public accounting experience. She began her career as a Sole Proprietor assisting clients with financial statements and payroll services. After ten years, she joined a local CPA Firm where she continued as a staff accountant, compiling financial statements and supporting tax return preparation. She joined the Humphreys Capital team in 2019.
In 1998, Kathy earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Southern Nazarene University. She and her family reside in Mustang.

Jonathon oversees strategic communication at Humphreys Capital, ensuring clear and consistent engagement with investors, partners, and external audiences. He also supports the firm’s fundraising efforts by developing communication strategies and investor materials. Since joining the firm in 2022, he has played a key role in strengthening brand visibility and investor relations. Previously, he served as senior art director for a private equity-backed company in Dallas, TX.
Beyond his work at Humphreys Capital, he currently serves on the young professional advisory board of Course for Change, an Oklahoma City-based non-profit serving at-risk and juvenile justice-involved youth.
Jonathon earned a Master of Science in Strategic Communication from Butler University in 2024 and a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from the University of Oklahoma in 2020.
Jonathon, his wife, Bri, and their daughter live in Oklahoma City.

Justin manages the firm’s internal accounting functions under the guidance of the Senior Director of Finance, ensuring accurate financial operations and reporting. In addition, he analyzes real estate assets to assess their market value, supporting strategic investment decisions He joined the firm in 2024 after beginning his career in the audit practice at EY.
Justin earned a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Oklahoma Baptist University in 2022. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Oklahoma since September 2023.
He and his wife, Leavi, reside in Edmond, Oklahoma.

Emery supports the Operations team by assisting with database management, Investor reporting, and the curation of business intelligence dashboards.
Emery earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Oklahoma in May of 2023. During college, she wrote and published her first book, Fight Back, which prompted her to start the mission, Live in Lasting Purpose, along with an online boutique to support its endeavors. In May of 2024, she joined the Humphreys Capital team.
